Provides core types and functionality to implement applications using Flux architecture with .NET.

FluxBase / Dispatcher / DispatchAsync(object) Method

Asynchronously dispatches an action to all subscribed callbacks.

This is a public method.

public Task DispatchAsync(object action)

Parameters

action object
The action to dispatch.

Returns Task

Returns a Task representing the asynchronous operation.

Exceptions

InvalidOperationException - Thrown when the dispatcher is already dispatching an action.

Remarks

This method is not available for .NET Framework 2.0, .NET Framework 3.0 and .NET Framework 3.5 builds.
